A Champion for Working Families.

Ahmed Karrar is an attorney and community development consultant who is focused on expanding opportunity for working families. He earned his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. Throughout his career, Ahmed has advocated for vulnerable communities and helped major institutions invest real resources in Black and Brown neighborhoods. As the son of Sudanese immigrants, he brings firsthand understanding of the challenges Black and immigrant communities face, especially as Trump-era policies drive discrimination and civil rights abuses.

As Donald Trump and big-money insiders push policies that weaken essential services and divide our communities, Ahmed is running to deliver honest, people-centered leadership. He believes the strongest response to insider politics puts tax dollars to work for working families, rebuilds trust in government, and brings people together around a shared vision of dignity and opportunity.
